These terms apply to this website and to every course, demo class, game, quiz and tool on it. By using the site or enrolling in a course you agree to them. Please also read the disclaimer, the privacy notice and the refund and cancellation policy, which form part of these terms.
Who you are dealing with
Rahul Seth (proprietor), trading as Excel Traders Academy, Beltola, Guwahati, Assam (“we”, “us”, “ETA”). Our contact details are on the contact page.
Education only
ETA teaches how markets work. Nothing on this site, in a class, in course material or in any message from us is investment advice, a recommendation to buy or sell any security, or an invitation to trade.
- We are not registered with SEBI as an Investment Adviser or Research Analyst and do not offer advisory or portfolio-management services.
- Any security, index or chart we show is a historical example for teaching, uses price data at least 30 days old, and is not a recommendation.
- The Market Mood Simulator, Name That Candle, Myth Busters and the Trading IQ quiz use made-up or historical data and test knowledge only. They do not predict prices.
- Trading and investing involve risk, including the loss of the money you put in. Every decision you make with your money is yours alone. Consider taking advice from a SEBI-registered professional before you act.
We make no promise about results, income, returns or exam outcomes. Learning outcomes are described as skills, never as money.
Who may enrol
Our courses are for adults. You must be 18 or older to enrol in your own name. A learner under 18 may be enrolled only by a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on the learner’s behalf.
Enrolment, fees and payment
- The formats, what is included and the refund policy are shown on the course page. Fees depend on the format you choose: our academic counsellor states the fee, and that GST is charged extra, before you register.
- This website does not take payments. Fee and payment questions go through the enquiry form, WhatsApp or a phone call, and our staff explain the process to you directly. We will never send you a request for payment through a link on this website or in an automated email from it.
- A seat is confirmed when our staff confirm it to you after registration.
- Cancellations and refunds follow the refund and cancellation policy.
- Batch dates, timings, trainers and format may change for reasons such as holidays, illness or low enrolment. We will tell you as early as we can.
Course material and intellectual property
Course notes, slides, workbooks, this website and its games are owned by ETA or licensed to us. They are for your personal learning. You may not copy, record, share, sell or publish them, or use them to run your own classes, without our written permission. Third-party fonts, icons and software are credited on the credits page under their own licences.
Your conduct
- Be respectful to trainers and fellow learners, in class and in any class group.
- Class groups are for learning. No buy or sell recommendations, no sharing of positions, screenshots of profits or losses, referral links or promotions of any kind.
- Do not share course material with people outside your batch.
- Do not use this website in any way that interferes with it, probes its security or submits false information.
We may suspend or end the enrolment of anyone who breaks these rules, in line with the refund and cancellation policy.
Testimonials and photographs
We publish learning stories and photographs only with written consent obtained after the course. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us, and we will remove the content within a reasonable time.
Third-party links
Links to YouTube, Instagram, WhatsApp, Google Maps, SEBI, exchanges or other sites are for convenience. Those sites have their own terms and privacy practices and we are not responsible for them.
Our responsibility
We provide the site and our courses with reasonable skill and care, but we do not promise that the site will always be available or free of errors. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from trading or investment decisions, from reliance on anything taught or shown, or from your use of this site. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer that cannot be limited by contract.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Guwahati, Assam.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top tells you when they last changed, and the current version always applies to new enrolments.
